Description:
This medicine is a nitrate used to treat and prevent angina (chest pain). It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Directions:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine comes with a patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have before using this medicine. USING THIS MEDICINE may cause sudden dizziness. Sit down before using. DO NOT SHAKE this medicine. AT THE FIRST SIGN OF AN ANGINA ATTACK, spray 1 or 2 doses onto or under your tongue. Do not inhale the spray. Do not eat or drink anything until you feel pain relief. If chest pain continues, you may repeat in 5 minutes. Do not use more than 3 sprays in 15 minutes. IF YOU STILL HAVE PAIN after using 3 sprays, contact your doctor or go to the hospital emergency room. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light.

Cautions:
THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE dizziness. Drinking alcohol will worsen this effect. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine. If dizziness occurs, sit up or stand up slowly. THIS MEDICINE MAY GIVE you a headache or cause a burning or tingling in your mouth. These effects are normal. FOR MEN: DO NOT TAKE VIAGRA (sildenafil) while using this medicine. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS DRUG IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
